Wheel of time movie

I am just going to talk off a whim here, without being up to date on much of the specific story structure.

If they were to gather all the individual story line associations, over the course of each book, or multiple books. They can generate a concentrated delivery off the point of interaction.

Build the innocence of the main characters, being normal, apart of the world, and crash down on them with the chaos of the evil forces. Which disrupts them of their homes and lives as they know it. So thats Bel Tine, where each character gets the press of their characters interwoven.

Then have Moirane and Lan be the guardians of the depths to come, as they go on their way to Camelyn. They can splice that by a background story stream, of Shayoul ghoul, and Artur Hawkings.

Then when they get separated, Rand can start having nightmares and dreams associated with what is going to go down. To the active world around them. Interactions that dictate the course of what plots are being taken against them. This will be a great envelopment, to the atmosphere of the world shifting in this current age.

With the use of some foreshadowing of talents etc, after being associated with the Elayne/Andor royal concept. He can be teleported, via dream traveling. So let’s say Moirane and Lan and some of the crew have to take the Ways, or go to Shadar Logoth. where they need to gather at the borderlands and meet the Borderlands.

For whatever it was that they were doing in (vague here on time line) the tainted city, or traveling the ways. Rand can realize the severity of his circumstance, and get taken on the high road from there. Whether that means, he meets up with them at the borderlands, or diverts from having to go to the borderlands entirely at that point, and whether that means he can teleport others with him, on the bubbles of his powers coming to the surface.

It can arc a lineage of events where each person gets there specific assembly to their roles. I.e Moirane taking Egwene and Nyaeve under her cusp. Rand can be with Mat and Loial and Thom. It can come to pass to the development of their characters, where they will be able to leech into accounts of the other series, and produce skip points or concentration points.

Lets say for the sake of association. Mats taint produces a conflict, that has him and Rand struggling, in an epic turn of character. Where it has been revealed the depth of evil the blade produces. Rand can be struck by it, and it surges the dark ones urgency to draw him to Shayoul ghoul.

So meanwhile, Moirane and company can have met the Amyrlin Seat and produced the story line of Aes Sedai, by all faculties required. Where she has to follow the weave of the pattern, and carry on to the Eye of The world. She can be engaged in a tyrade against the villain of that circumstance.

Where Rand shows up, in an epic centralization of their characters. Mat is unconcious by the back lash of the taint. Etc etc. the details of the conflict. Moiraine and crew are victorious, she recognizes the curse of Mat, takes him to Tarvalon. Rand is overcome by the reality of everything and takes to his course. (to what i dont remember exactly).

the end of the movie, can have Eladia, have her talent take hold of her, foretelling is it? It can be energized by the combustion of events at the Eye of the World, and lead to the further plot point of the next movie. The association of her, to what can come, can be depicted when first meeting with the Tar Valon procession at the Border Lands; as well as having first encountered Rand, in Camelyn.

Again maybe finishing with some sort of encounterance with the Aiel/chosen manipulations, via a depth, expansive cut scene.

like, queue far scope camera, honing in on a bunch of sandy brown dots, scaling over the walls of dragon mount. zooming in on the raw and war cut definitions of the Aiel.

roll credits with powerful music encapcilating the escalations of the next film.

The inbetweens, of climatic engagements, I have left out, just to get the overall loadage, of the film.

Leading into an elegant escalation of events, in one viable motion. Say, 4 movies? 5 movies?

edit: ps. dont account for my piss poor writing communication. My mind expresses stunted versions of its vision.

pps: a lot of reliance is on the heart of cinematography - soul of the earth - portrayal if you will. Bypass a lot of the massive detail volume of the books, in rightly depicting the essence of the world.

I have so much to say for this. To be a master piece. Inside and out, and all around.

the intro scenes will be an over view fanning of the lands, as they roll credits/As the wheel turns, you will get the overall dynamic of the world they live in. From point A to point Z. Weather conditions, social/communal conditions, to their grade of affiliation. A
So essentially, the intro of the second movie, will have them all advanced to their scales of placement. Rand will have learned focus on his power. Lets say he went to the stedding with Loial, and he grabbed his focus of the void. Living down in them parts a bit, when we run into him. Say he wakes up in a soaking sweat, still turmulted by the chaos of his new affiliation with his other lives. Id say in some weird way, he has premonition about him being born on dragon mount, but through the affiliation of Tam not being his father, and his mother dieing.

It becomes definitive to him, that he has to take off from where he is, as he feels maybe he is pulling the evil through the safety of the stedding. Where he can go out into the Dragonmount / Caerhein surroundings, and experience the Aiel.

Which can run in line, with Mat and Egwene being at the tower, where he is required to associate with the Horn, etc etc. They get pulled into their specific mission.

While Rand is developing his story line with the Aiel, on a sort of affirmed basis, that he is becoming, the man of prophecy by association to world relevances and his own power consumption.

From first movie to second movie, somewhere inbetween, Perrin can be entangled with his association of the White Cloaks/Wolf factor.

Say maybe he went with Rand, to the stedding, because he believed in him still. Perrins solemn character etc. But he as well became to notice the change, Rand was experiencing.

So Rand wanting to go walk with the Aiel, can be a qeue point for Perrin to break away, by some factor of the wolves/white cloaks.

The whitecloaks are introduced by matter of the Aiel coming into the world. Whether Perrin is:

  1. kidnapped
  2. separated
  3. led away

He can be familliar with the whitecloaks by either,

  1. an initial cooperation
  2. initial imprisonment
  3. happenstance of conflict.

This can all move forward by:
-all in regards to the wolves and his shift in character development.
-queue dialog of the white cloaks commander, regarding the Aiel / Aes Sedai / Sanchean, threat.
-queue Elyas, (aha,) Elyas can maybe rescue Perrin, because the wolves sensed him, for who he is.
(Associate the previous events to Perrin being engaged to the Wolves in some way, before meeting the Whitecloaks, or Elyas definitively.

Now we can reign in the story to an entirely untold circumstance, that comes into play for further movie development. While having it course itself, into

  1. Mat and crew
  2. Rand and Aiel, select
  3. all nations meeting up for the Senchean encounter.

Articulation of the 2/3 of the film and collaborating 3rd film dynamics, still required.

edit: ps: /facepalm - the entire stone of tear concept, could give a great acceleration standard, to the entire world of power/prophecy: after having the upheaval of the Sanchean, by battling in the sky. The movie can end with Rand, a little bit more assured, a little bit more of a leader. He can take occupation of the stone, and introduce essential nations affiliates. We can have faile introduced as a neat mysterious figure somewhere surrounding these events, where she really comes into climax in the next movie, with the development of meeting with Baishar.

The next movie can span a lot of concentrated battle components for the other nations, by their civil discourse/chosen and minions insurgency. Allowing for a lot of “scholastic” pursuit for Rand Elaine Egwene – etc etc etc-
to place themselves in super turmoil escalation on the fourth installment.

I just don’t see how a high magic type fantasy can work in film or television. GoT and LOTR work because the magic is very muted and out of the way, a WoT battle would be like something out of star wars instead.

Well that’s why the first 3 movies would reasonably be a slight build to use of the Power. It would really focus on the depth of the world and the chess pieces starting to be formed together. the chess pieces being every faction being esclated to its final correspondence. So really you would have a nice suave screen direction, for the common interactions involving the power. THEN. In the last 3 films where it is battle field city. You can get the big epic assortment tearing the screen apart, and focusing in on the prime character distinction, that was developed through the other movies.

i.e Rand starts off an innocent
His world is torn apart
He becomes broken
Rebuilt
Steady to his point
Disrupted
then fully reemerged as a power master to finalize the worlds evil.

There is a critical association with the world being brought into the reemergence of the power, and how the communal stablility is being torn apart through political/civil/evil unrest. It starts as a lot of mainstream distrust of the power; escalating into a major reliance on its salvation. As the world itself is being taken from good to evil.

It has a very sensible strategy for movie coverage. You know for people who are looking for the core element of Wheel of Time Book1 to all developed Book12. You got to be ready to have the span of focus, relay the message over the course of the entire series.

So like you finish Book 1 and your like man, I cant wait for Movie 2 to come out.

3 hours : full cult follower satisfaction (unlikely budgeting)
2.5 hours: allowance of detail orientation inbetween
2 hours: straight cut: 12 books to 6 movies. (catch the whole affect)
------(hold your breath) Rand might die at the last movie ---- (successfully cleansing the taint and resealing the Dark One.

Upon success of the first 6 movies----

the second visit to Rhudiean of Aviendha- introduces a 3 movie follow up
(dependent upon success of the first 6 movies)
It is a world ruled by Seanchean and the Black Ajah coming in uprising to the Black Tower. With a cult variance of the Seanchean going against all who can channel again.
