[Pre-posting note] * I’ve asked this question to Unca Cecil directly, thrice, and even though two of them made it through the “Inital screening process” (The third was reviewed by someone who reviewed it previously, and assured me it was still on his desk…), the big guy still hasn’t decided to tackle this question that bothers us all (read: Most). So here I come to my beloved TM’s to ask what Cecil himself has decided to ‘obviously’ pass on. Below lies the original letter. . . *[/pre-posting note]
Dear Unca Cecil,
As a long time TM (And one of the chosen few to be selected for both your column and books – see THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS ), I feel it is once again my duty to touch upon the pulse of my peers and ask the questions that we all wish to know:
When but a wee lad I suffered, as did most, from pimples on my face. Now that I’m a strapping 34 year old man, the pimples have moved decidedly South to my posterior. My simple question , is why? Why do I have pimples on my ass when I have maintained the (relative) same clean status of my bum my whole life?

At around the same time your ass is becoming your face, you’ll find that your face is becoming your ass. Mother Nature knows that you need one of each, but doesn’t care which is which.
I think this is why they sell dark lipstick liner.

But seriously, they may not be PIMPLES, same as the acne I had as a kid, but I never had these pimples on my ass. Not until I hit around 30. Seriously. And I know I’m not the only one.
What I guess I’m asking is, why does this happen, and is there anything I can do to stop it?
And on a side-note: I still dunno why Unca Cecil is not tackling this: just think of Slug’s illustration for it! It’s gold, Jerry… GOLD!
Likely those are caused by heat and sweat. In other words, you likely weigh more and now sit on your ass more. The material of your underwear, and the detergent, etc you wash it in mya also be a factor. In other words, the "pimples’ are caused by irritation, rather than by the Acne bacteria.
Women sometimes get them from wearing nylon panties.
