When did the French sink a Green Peace boat in the US?

Title says it all really. I read someone mention it in passing on another thread and I’m curious as to whether they are getting confused with the sinking of the Rainbow Warrior in New Zealand by the French, or if the French also sunk a boat in the USA.

Nope. Just the one in Auckland Harbour I think.

Yes thought as much, thanks

JUST?

A berm!

Yes! JUST! It’s not like Americans died or anything serious.

Just out of curiosity though, how many people would the DGSE had to have killed for the US State Department to name France as a state sponsor of terrorism?a

A photographer for Greenpeace died on that ship. Not sure of his nationality, but since I’m a photog, he was my brother.

He was Portuguese. I’m not Portuguese or a photographer but he was a brother of us all nonetheless. b

Does there remain a General Question here?
