One should appreciate that this potentially works both ways. The sceptics amongst us might say that whatever name they used (Jesus or Attis) they were just doing the same ol’. And if one ignores the names, and concentrates just on what people are doing then there is good reason to think that one religion just became another.
In the Western world. In other parts of the world, it is growing like topsy.
Only if you also ignore what people believe or profess to believe. Which is kind of a big thing to ignore when comparing religions to see if they are in fact the same.
