My dog’s real name is Lady Jane Grey, but she goes by Lady. From there to Lady Dog, to Lady Frog, to plain ol’ Frog. I know there are people in my neighborhood who wonder why I would name a blond cocker spaniel Frog.
When she was a puppy I called her Baby Snooks, which someone once told me was the name of some old cartoon character, but I didn’t know that. To this day I have no idea where I heard the name or how I came up with it.
My my dad calls my parents’ dog Smokes: Koko (his real name) -> Kokey -> Kokey-Moe -> Smokey-Joe -> Smokes.
My pugs’ kennel names are: Alcar’s Victorian Rage and Alcar’s Chubby Bugs Puggy. Their real home names are Tori and Chubby, but I call 'em Tater Bug and Pork Chop.
Enid is also known as: Niddy Kitty, Nitty-gritty Kitty, Enid Oklahoma, The Nid, Nidster, Scooter, Muffin, Fuzzmuffin, Adventure Cat, Action Cat, Enid The Exploding Cat, Wondermuff, Fuzzyface, Catpants, Fishface (she used to press her face against the fish tank glass), Furball and Tuxedo Chick.
