When is a modern car considered middle-aged?

Not all of us can afford to buy a brand new Nissan Sentra every year you know.

As a guy I used to sell cars with would say, I wouldn’t drive a Nissan Sentra to a booger pick. (And I’m proud to report that I was terrible at selling cars.)

If I used your rule, then I’ve only ever bought 1 car that wasn’t already old. I like your rule. It means I have a steady supply of fairly cheap (but plenty of life left) vehicles. Stick with it!

I plan to. The last car I traded in was 4 years old and had about 20k miles on it. I typically buy a half-tank of gas a month. Different strokes for different folks, dontcha know.
