Is it that difficult to detect sarcasm? Maybe reading past the first line of the OP would have helped. It was a rather good effort.
At least one sarcasm fail was a poster that I’m pretty sure is English as a second language. Though I might be wrong about that. That has to make it far harder though if I’m right.

See, I didn’t know the thread that was parodied, but after reading it, I think that OP and the poster’s other contributions virtually aren’t less asinine and outrageous than @BeepKillBeep’s effort. So cut me a little slack, because dumbasses who express dribble like in the OP of this thread really exist. Sad, but true.
That’s true, but reading comprehension was not my problem. My sarcasm-meter, which normally is quite good, wasn’t properly calibrated.
For the record, I’m not hurt or offended at all. I was very frustrated yesterday with stuff happening off these boards, the thread I parodied was frustrating me, and I felt the need to vent via parody. I also sent a great (imo) meme to the Russian embassy. That made me feel better too.

Which, to be honest, if it was just the OP, I could see as being satire, if a little over the top. But then the OP came back to defend those positions, and at that point, he’d have to be pretty committed to the bit.
Please (may we say ‘please’ in the Pit?) read it, and you’ll see that it’s hard to tell from its parody.
