When is it time to replace a toilet seat?

Indeed, this is one of those rare moments in life where if you have to ask, you already know the answer.

Fair enough.

Although I was curious about others’ experiences, and glad to hear that it sounds pretty easy.

Sorry if my response was overly snarky.

My cheap sister bought a second hand one. I was hoping she would get crabs.

You don’t get crabs from a toilet seat!

You could if you took a dubious woman there.

It’s your toilet. Change it when you like. They are simple to change. I had better not see you asking when you can clean the toilet.

Replacing it every spring would be a little extreme, unless that person doesn’t clean it at all. Plastic is easier to maintain, and yes you must swab under the seat as well and don’t forget the rim.

Not a when do you clean, but a how do you clean, is what I would like to see. I’m not too fussy of a housekeeper but I get a little anal over how to clean the toilet.
