When it comes to fraud, does Facebook even care any more?

After my mother died, scammers started sharing ads on her page incessantly (Ray Bans only $39!!!). I contacted Facebook, they made me send them a link to her obituary, and after that they locked her page so no further posts could be made, but left all the spam crap that had already made it up there. So now my mother’s “memorial page” contains about 100 ads before you get to stuff she actually posted. Thanks Facebook :roll_eyes:

That’s the one. Before that, service providers who tried to moderate content could be held liable, whereas service providers who simply didn’t bother at all, were not liable.
