When the weather fails to not cooperate

I don’t use a clothes dryer; I hang my laundry up to dry. In the winter, it’s on racks in the (very large) kitchen; spring through fall, of course, it’s out in the back yard.

Yesterday and today, the weather forecast was for hot and humid, with a likelihood of showers off and on throughout the afternoon, so I didn’t do laundry – and, of course, it hasn’t rained a drop.

Which reminds me, I should go water the container plants.

Grumble grumble grumble.

In before the …

First to mention that your title is a double negative (The statement is the same as saying “When the weather cooperates”)

God I’m annoying.

Yeah, the double negative was pretty much the point. Insofar as there was a point. :rolleyes:

You know, you could have made it rain merely by hanging your clothes up. I do this all the time. No droughts on my watch!

twicks, do you also take your clothes down to the crick and beat 'em on a rock? :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t be silly. I’m a Yankee – I use the creek. :wink:

If it makes you feel better I did do laundry and hang it to dry and then it got rainy and humid and now I have to rewash everything. :frowning:

Ah! There is balance in the universe! You and Twicks have failed to prove that Og doesn’t have a plan! :wink:

I successfully washed *and dried * a load of laundry today – thereby proving (or disproving) – uh – what, exactly?

That the universe prefers that we not smell?

I use a clothes dryer. It’s Florida, you see…:rolleyes::slight_smile:
