JFK was the subject of dozens of biographies. Most presidents have several, written before his term expires. Obama seems to have none (or very few).
I am interested in the details of his life-I am told (by many sources) that many of his personal records are “sealed”-there is no way to access them. Without debating the truth of that, is there a comprehensive biography that gives the details of his student days, activities, etc.?

All personal records are “sealed.” That is, protected by privacy laws. That applies to anyone, not just a President. You can’t just call up a university and say “Joe Smith graduated from your university in1995. I’d like to see all his class schedules, transcripts and so on”. The university would tell you to bugger off, unless Joe Smith has given you an authorisation to see his university records.
Is this some new conservative tactic to paint the guy as secretive and having a lot of skeletons in his closet? :dubious:
How will I learn about Obama’s neo-colonialist communist upbringing and how his father taught him to hate the American dream before he met with socialist radicals in Chicago if no one dares to write about it in a biography? Or… you know… six or seven biographies.
