Where are the USB flash drives bigger than 32GB?

Hey,

It seems that 32GB USB flash drives are inching upon the $100 territory, and there are no 64GB USB flash drives in sight. Sure there’s the BUSLink from a few years ago that still retails for a few grand, but it seems to be the only one, expensive and out of stock.

Just some time ago, 8GB USB flash drives were inching upon $100 territory, 16GB were available, and so were 32GB (for close to a grand) and 64GB (for a few grand). Now, 32GB are dirt cheap, and no normal brand 64/128/256GB in sight. Is this an example of price fixing to justify high SSD prices or is there some technical limitation?

I noticed no high capacity CF cards either.

Best regards,

Groman

Right here, and a steal at $3000

But that one was available two years ago! Where are the Sandisk, OCZ, Crucial, Corsair, Viking, etc. 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, 512GB drives?

That article says that we might be seeing something later this year.
