Where can I buy a new Nintendo?

Does anybody know where I can purchase a new Nintendo system (the original)?

If you mean never opened - then no - I have no idea. But you can get 'em off ebay pretty easily. If you’re replacing an old one - try to get a toploader - they work much better IMHO.

Here you go. Only $19.95.

I doubt you’ll ever find a brand new one anywhere since they’ve been out of production for over a decade.
However, you can easily find them at places that sell used video games (i.e. Gamestop). They’re damn cheap too.

Search for “NOS NES” on ebay. NOS means “New old stock”, as in, un-opened. You will pay more and it will be harder to find, but it’s definately possible to find them still. (You can find nearly everything videogame related NOS if you know where to look).

You might be able to get a sealed on ebay if you wait a while and pay a lot. If not, you can usually get a used one for around $20-30, or a used toploader for about $90 (twice what they originally sold for).

If you have an old NES that has the constant blinking light problem, what you probably have is a bad connector. You can get a replacement one from MCM Electronics, and there are instructions here on how to replace it. It’s pretty easy, and it usually works like a charm.
