Where can I buy a SINGLE MAGAZINE on the Internets?

I’ve been trying to find the new Newsweek that’s been talked about but can’t find the damn thing ANYWHERE! Local stores don’t have them and every place I’ve seen on the Internet sells the SUBSCRIPTIONS but not the individual issue.

Try your local public or university library. Many libraries carry Newsweek, and ideally it won’t have been stolen by now. Call ahead.

You can also read online for free, if you don’t care about the fancy glossy paper. Kennewick carries Proquest, a database which carries Newsweek, up to the current issue.

eBay would be a last resort. You can get individual issues there, but it looks like there’s a spike in prices.

What’s so good about the latest Newsweek?

(Supposedly) behind the scenes commentary from the various presidential campaigns, painting more than a few main figures in a poor light.

Moving thread from IMHO to General Questions.

All that should be online here: Highlights: Newsweek's Special Election Project

Unfortunately, this site does not seem to have the issue of Newsweek you are after in stock. But just to answer the general question of where you can buy single issues of magazines on the 'net, here is a source I’ve used. And you can e-mail them to see if they can get ahold of specific issues.

I had luck finding one in a college bookstore near me. Student know it’s an important historical event, but most would rather spend the $5 on beer.

But hurry – it goes off sale on Monday.

Amazon.com

I was looking for that issue myself, but my mom got it for me where she lives. I believe you may still be able to get it by calling Newsweek directly at (800) 631-1040.

Found it. Amazon.com? No. Barnes and Noble? No. Bookstore? No.

Albertsons. :smack:

Good on ya! I’m reading it now and really enjoying it. These Newsweek special post-election wrapup issues, with all the behind-the-scenes stuff from their imbedded and embargoed reporters from throughout the entire campaign, are like crack for a political junkie like me. Love it.
