Where can I buy those large lollipops?

As a kid, I remember occasionally getting a certain brand of large lollipop as a treat. They were spherical, not disk-shaped, and in the store I recall them being mounted on a revolving tree-like structure. They were also incredibly big, rather difficult to even fit in my mouth for the first few…sucks.

They came in a large variety of flavors, but they were all fairly simple: different combinations of strawberry, green apple, mango, etc. They were sold individually, and the packaging was also uncomplicated - no bright colors or flashy marketing tie-ins, just a wrapper with the company logo.

They were very tasty, and given the large size lasted quite a long time.

Anyone know what I’m talking about, or where I can buy these? I’ve seen them on and off over the years, but I can’t think of the name of the stores where I’ve seen them on sale.

Also, the wrappers were clear.

As I recall, they were primarily sold in health-food stores, although I think I’ve seen them in a major grocery chain.

They were usually sold near the checkout lanes, not in the candy aisle.

Could those be it? Looks like they only sell in bulk, though.

My local Wal-Mart carries them. I almost bought one the other day.

I wonder if they still make the Pina Colada flavor. . .

I’ve seen 'em at Wallyworld too…also at a college bookstore and a few of those Bob Evans-esque faux olde-tymey general store places.

Around here, kids sell them for funraisers a lot.

Ah hah, I remember that name, those were the ones I was talking about. Thanks all!

Astro pops, maybe?

Yeah, I just clicked the thread, and then since I knew that -that was probably it, I felt I had to leave it. They can be found at Wally Worlds near me.

And if those aren’t big enough, try these.
