I’ve been hearing for some time now that the Bush campaign is requiring people attending rallies and whatnot to sign a loyalty oath stating that the signatory supports the reelection of George W. Bush and consents to the use of his name and image. However, I have not yet seen an actual copy of such an oath. What’s the straight dope? Are they real? Are they being used at all public functions? How long have they been in use? Is there anywhere I can go to see a scanned copy or a duplication?
