Where can I find archived old "National Lampoon" articles online?

There are issues of the actual magazine for sale (used) on Amazon, from Marketplace sellers. If you have the issue number, you can probably find what you’re looking for.

Yeah, no Problem. The radio shows are pretty cool.

I was looking for the text to Stephen King’s Eggboiler about a week ago, and I found an item on Daily Kos that led me to where I wanted to go.

The Lampoon is archived online at archive.org. 73 issues.

Thank you both very much.

Edit: Oops! Overlooked Kayla’s link. Gratitude extended to include him.

Anyone know where to get the National Lampoon radio shows?

Trubba Man!

Yeah I remember Trubba Man

I want to say “Big Thanks” for the link to the archive of old NatLamps.

I’ve gone thru nearly all of those now. It is amazing how much the magazine changed from 72-74. From pretty meh to golden. The addition of the comics section really marks the growth. And the ads! Especially the albums. Tons of “Wow!” classics to “Who were those people?”. And the stereos: Was there a federal law mandating the look of those?

OTOH, some of the comics are … a bit much by today’s standards. Especially several of the Trots and Bonnie ones. Can you imagine the stink if a national magazine was sold on newstands with those cartoons nowadays?

Bodē is the Cartoon Messiah.

You should see the first Trots and Bonnie cartoon, back in Air Pirates.

They have sex.

Yep. The girl and her dog. Have sex.

I loved reading Mrs Agnew’s diary.

I miss Idyl.

Actually, they did. They paid the Harvard Lampoon a yearly fee for the use of the name.
