Where can I find out about unrestricted radio frequencies (UK)

I’m thinking about getting one of those little wireless cameras, they operate at 1.2GHz and I’m having trouble finding out if this is an unrestricted frequency in the UK.

Can anyone help?

Searches have turned up these cameras for sale in the UK, so I’m assuming they are legal to use there.

Looks like the Ministry of Defence has dibs on the band in which 1.2Ghz falls… hmmm.
