Does anyone know where I can get one of those standard litter/trash signs as a scalable graphics file (e.g., SVG, EPS, TTF)? I’d rather not pay to download one as I’m pretty sure there must be somewhere on the web someone’s made a free version. Google Images isn’t any help because it indexes only bitmap (GIF, JPEG, and PNG) files.
Looks like you can save as an EPS file in the GIMP.
I think perhaps you misunderstand my query. I am not looking for a way to produce EPS files, or to convert the tiny bitmap I used as an example to an EPS file (which would be just as grainy even with an autotracer). I want original artwork for the litter sign as an EPS file, or in a similar vector format.
There’s one here, but it’s not free. If you can find a larger version of that image, I can trace it in Visio and save it as an EPS but I don’t know how well that will work out.
I just found the litter sign on the Open Clip Art Library. (I tried checking before I posted here, but the site was down at the time.)
