Where could one find a online phylogenetic tree?

In a evolution class of mine the professor gave a research paper as the final exam. This paper is to be over one species, and show two derived characteristics, and ways of testing adaption. The problem is we are also required to print off a phylogenetic tree of the species we chose. My google skills are not very good, and I’m having trouble finding one.
Does anyone know a good website where I could find a printable phylogenetic tree? If it helps my chosen species is Panthera tigris (tiger).

This is a good time for you to learn how to use journal search engines, which is probably why your Professor assigned this work. Go to your library, log onto whatever search engines are available (most colleges/universities have several different biology databases) and take it from there.

Dopers don’t generally mind assisting with homework/assignments if you can show you’ve nmade a bona fide attempt and are stumped or need help. In this case the bare minimum effort would be to conduct a journal search. Come back if you can’t find any articles at all on Panthera phylogeny published in the past 20 years (which is doubtful).

Not being rude, but if we just hand you the answer you won’t learn nuthin’.

OK, two minutes with Synergy search engine produces two results with phylogentic trees of the Felidae, including P. tigris. This question can be answered readily by using the skills you’re gonna need when you graduate.

That’s why these things are called research papers.

I couldn’t have said it better myself.
