Where did this kid thing come from: Stick thumb in someone's armpit and say "Zook!"

Used to do this when I was kid in the 70’s, it came from my cousins who can’t recall today where they got it from. One thinks maybe it came from TV.

Anybody recall this or something like this on a TV show in 70’s or earlier?

This is almost certainly NOT where it came from, but it’s a free bump:

In one of the “Amos ‘n’ Andy” episodes, the Kingfish gets drafted when a notice is sent to the wrong “George Stevens.” In one scene, he goes on about the different types of guns he’s going to be using. I don’t remember what all he says, but one of the things is “And the *‘zookas are a-zookin’! Zook-zook! Zook-zook!”

Actually, I just found out my cousin got it from a schoolmate, not a TV show. So maybe that kid made it up.
