Arlington, the place with the Cemetery.
Definitely somewhere in america.
That is how 95% of the world knows the name.
Nowadays I think of Virginia. Growing up in Texas, I always thought of the one in Texas.
Arlington Virginia, due to the cemetary, with a vague idea there was another one besides IL or TX.
It’s the one in Washington, which is not so far from where I grew up. I went to Girl Scout camp with some girls from the Love Family.
Arlington Baptist Church and School near Baltimore, MD.
Then the cemetery, then the ball park. Then, who knows how many others.
There are many places in the US that have the same names. Westminster, Sunnyside, and Farmington are such places, and I’ve lived in three.
Virginia. Y’know, down the street a couple miles.
The former far-SW DC. It helps I’ve been living here since late 2017.
But TX was close behind in my mind.
Well, I choose “others” since ,for me, Arlington is a cemetery near Washington…
That’s the closest Arlington to me as well (although I’m a bit further south), but I still had to give my vote to Arlington, VA, since it’s where I grew up.
Given where I live now, VA. When I lived in TX, TX.
