Where does the term "Fucko off" come from?

Uetke returned as “Cobra” and “King Nifty” and possibly a few more. His style of posting under the “King Nifty” name wasn’t all that bad, until he outed himself. I’m too lazy to hunt for links at the moment, but I, Dooku (I think), and a couple of others have the distinction of having been threatened with physical violence by he/she/it. Somehow I could never convince myself to take the threat very seriously.

Ah, and here I thought it was just the original Latin. You know, fucko, fuckas, fuckat, fuckamus, fuckatis, fuckant.

Ah, the memories. I actually miss Bill. He had such an innocence - he would say some truly thoughtless things and then get confused when everyone got angry with him.

Ah, well.

Oh, my! That just feels so right! You’re a genius!

Yeah, it is nice, isn’t it? The excessive vigor adds that little extra theatrical flourish I feel the phrase deserves.

Of course, I’m not trying to be pedantic. Circumstances vary, and there may well be times when ohter approaches are more appropriate. For example, a forthright, perfectly deadpan delivery may shock and/or amuse by its very incongruity. What I’m trying to say is, don’t be afraid to experiment. Have fun with it! Find out what works for you. Solicit the advice of friends and coworkers.

Really, I can’t emphasize this enough. If anyone deserves a “fucko off” when approaching, it’s ohter. What a creep.
