Let’s see yours. Did this with a bunch of friends here in Sweden, have yet to see somone pass out of the same quadrant I am in. The closest anyone has gotten to leaving the quadrant so far is somone who was on the vertical axis.

Around the same area as Mandela and the Dalai Lama
Methinks the test says more about the people who made it than the people taking it, but a fun 5 mintues anyhow.

My political compass:
Economic Left/Right: -1.38
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -1.23
So I’m in that same quadrant too, but damn close to center. I guess I’m most like Jean Chretien.
Good lord, even my political views are boring!
Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: 0.88
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -3.33

When I took it last year:
Economic Left/Right: 0.13
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -5.54
When I took it today:
Economic Left/Right: 0.25
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.82
Wow, I’m just a little bit off of all of you so far, hahaha. Clock me in at
Economic Left/Right: +4.75
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -1.59
Economic = -4.88
Auth/Lib = -1.38
I’ve always found the traditional left/right lacking, so its a neat test.
Economic Left/Right: 3.50
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -3.59
Economic Left/Right: -5.25
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -6.87
If you look at the chart of famous figures on that site, none of them are in the libertarian right quandrant (must have forgotten Ayn).
Economic Left/Right: -3.25
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -1.38
Who knew?

I’m in the same quadrant as most of the people here:
Economic Left/Right: -3.50
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.00
http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalcompass/questionnaire.pl?page=printable_graph&X=-3.50&Y=-4.00
Economic Left/Right: 8.50
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.77
Roughly what I figured
I’m in the upper right corner, with George W. Bush and Ariel Sharon.
But as the OP said, the phrasing of the questions tells us quite a bit about the people who created the quiz. They obviously have their own set of prejudices, and don’t think highly of people who don’t share those prejudices.

Economic Left/Right: -7.00

Hrm!
Economic L/R: +3.38
Authoritarian L/R: +0.36
I hate to say it, but I pratically one-dimensional although I do have a great sense of humor.
I am pratically…
astorian , I too sensed a slant in the questions…
Economic Left/Right: -3.38
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -5.44
Very odd, since I find libertarianism a particularly infantile philosophy.
