where hits occur in Iraq

Hi. I have some friends going over to Iraq soon, to separate locations. Is there a web site set up with information about where and when attacks occur/occured? I’m trying to learn about the geography so the news I hear makes more sense. Seems like something somebody would have set up for family, etc.

Not exactly what you’re looking for, but the BBC news website has a pretty comprehensive in-depth feature on the current situation there, including security hot-spots.
