I have been a fan of Games Magazine for many years. I finally won a t-shirt in their “Laundry Basket” feature by having published not one, but two errors that I found in the March magazine. I received the order form for my t-shirt and promptly sent it in. That was in the spring of 2011. It’s almost November, and I have yet to receive my t-shirt. I have contacted them several times and the answer I keep getting is that the shirts are on back order. For 8 months??? Has anyone else won a Games t-shirt recently and received it or is anyone else getting the same runaround I am getting?
I’d be very disappointed! A laundry basket tshirt is a huge coup! (keep calling and good for you!).
Woohoo, congrats for earning the t-shirt in the first place. But boo for it not having arrived after all this time.
Actually I’m just delighted to know that Games is still around!
Damn, no kidding. I loved that magazine on the 1980s. I assumed the entire project was on permanent backorder.
I’ve been getting the magazine still for ages. This year I let my subscription lapse, cause of all the back issues I hadn’t finished!
