Where is search command?

In the FAQ for this message board, it says “To access the search feature, click on the “search” link at the top of most pages.”. However, After looking at several forums here, I can not find any “Search” link on any page. I’m sure there will be a “duh” moment for me when you point out how I am overlooking it.

I use the Firefox browser on a MacBook Pro using MacOSX 10.5.4.

Guests can’t use the search function, it’s restricted to members.

However if you have something in particular you’re looking for, a member might look it up for you.

Interesting. I believe that should be part of the FAQ. Apparently neither “non-guests” (those who have not even registered for the initial 30 day guest membership), nor “guest members” (those who have the 30 day free membership but who have not yet paid), can use the search command. I think it would be reasonable to let that second group use it. It’s pretty hard to evaluate such a board without it. It just seems strange to permit unlimited reading without permitting a search.

Thanks for the quick answers.

It, and PMs, are supposed to be draws to encourage guests to pay the annual subscription fee.
