If I have a question about something really mundane and pointless, or childish and trivial, should I post it in General Questions with all the mature, important quiries about melting ice caps, mail order brides, and the theory of relativity? Or should I post it in MPSIMS?
As I’ve seen some others post “trivial” questions in MPSIMS, I’d try there if you don’t think GQ fits.
But then again, if you’re asking an opinion, there’s IMHO.
And if it’s controversial, there’s GD.
And if there’s a swear word or two in it, there’s BBQ Pit.
Uh …
Guess it depends on the question, sorry.
I’d say MPSIMS, which is more or less the catchall forum. Though it might be more fun to put in GQ, just to watch manhatten go ballistic when he locks it.
Agreeing with Ice Wolf, it’s the topic of the question rather than the depth that determines (more or less) the forum. There are plenty of questions in General Questions that are answered by a single word, number, song title, or whatever.
Okay, thanks!
Speaking of which: nothing ticks Manhattan off like misspelling his name.
Hey, at least Iremembered that manhattan uses a lower-case m.
Yeah, that’s weird. I was wondering the same. I had a question but it was really pointless, so I put it in Mundane Pointless, with a little note apologizing if it should be in GQ. Sure, it may be in MPSIMS, but it sure as hell isn’t boring or trivial in this doper’s humble opinion.
