Where may I be able to buy a portrait/picture of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II (by God’s grace of Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, etc., Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith), preferrably one recently done? Not the original portrait but, you know, one those official posters or whatever.
I’m sure they’re available more cheaply. Are you in the UK? Perhaps you could try the Prime Minister’s office, or the Home Office. Or go into your local town hall and find out where their portrait came from.
Unfortunately, I do not reside in any realm where the Queen is recognized as having any authority. However, where I reside is presently very chummy with the English government.
This company also has a range of portraits (of a somewhat more youthful Elizabeth II) that are very competitively priced and that might be practical to use if you have only a small area available on your wall.
The cheapest portrait that I’m aware of is on the current Canadian one-cent coin. (The smallest coins in other realms of HM that I have visited are worth more than CAD 0.01)
The next cheapest would be on the British 1p coins and stamps.
You can find some pretty high res images of the Queen via Google images. Getting one of those printed yourself could be the most cost- effective solution. Just check the copyright first!
