I’ll be spending next weekend in Hasselt in Belgium. I won’t have any time to go sightseeing, but I’m interested in any good pubs, restaurants and the like. Any recommendations?
Hasselt? Jesus. Maastricht might be able to help you, otherwise. . . there’s not many Belgians on the board and they’ll just make fun of Limburg. I could help with Leuven, but Hasselt I know not.
Hey, you can jet over to Genk: the name fairly lilts off the tongue. I’ve been to Hasselt, but don’t remember it at all. Any pub will have good Belgian beer, and possibly a good pepper steak. There’s always the pommes frites, best in the world.
