There seems to be a lot of bad information out there regarding nutrition. Are there any sites out there that are grounded in science based research and not just fads going around?

Eat moderatly.
Eat varied.
This one will do better in IMHO rather than General Questions.

Yup. And I might add: Eat according to your body’s health state (diabetes, allergies and so on) and needs.
