Markdale, ON

The golf course in Markdale owes it’s existence to me. The town doctor was in Owen Sound (25 miles away) playing at the nearest golf course, and they had to chase him down to deliver me. He decided he needed a closer place to play golf, so he donated a farm he owned on the outskirts of town to set to course up.

Cincinnati, OH. (Christ Hospital, I think)

The day I was born, there was an earthquake in Cincinnati. Portents of things to come, I’m sure…
Or maybe that was just Nixon’s impending first election.
