Where were you born?

I thought the accent thing was really bad in Fargo. Until I saw Drop Dead Gorgeous. Ugh, that movie is just so wrong.

Brooklyn, New York

Ah, Duluth! Bob’s town!

Oh, I was born in Youngstown, OH. I now live in Cleveland. I’m a woman of the world.

Kettering, Ohio, just outside Dayton in 1964.

Goodland, Kansas

Yeah, we can see that it’s NON-FICTION! Not the plot, but the people. Worked with a Tennessean woman who adored it and quoted it at length, then we had to go to Mankato on business and I pointed out LeSueur (Le-SEW-er) as we passed. Then the receptionist could have been one of the hookers! A priceless look on my friend’s face.

Can anybody explain the over-representation of Minnesotans on this board?

BTW, St Paul, Minnesota.

Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY. And I was a month LATE.

Louisville, Ky. (For non-Kentuckians, that’s pronounced loo-uh-vul. :))

North Bend, Oregon

(it’s merged with Coos Bay these days) and now I’m freezing my ass off in South Dakota…

Phoenix, Arizona.

I was born in Redlands, California, and now live in St Cloud, MN.
Chique, I loved the movie Fargo. Not being from here, I could see the humor and I have met people who do talk like that, doncha know.
dropzone, the reason there are is an over-abundance of Minnesotans on this board, is; when it’s zero fricking degrees outside(F) and the snow is piled up to our arses, there is not much else to do, except have sex and post on this board.

What imthjckaz said, 'cept I ain’t got no Spidey-type around here.

Minneapolis, MN

Canandaigua, NY
We have a lake

A lake? That’s not going to impress the Minnesotans, you know.

Ahhh, another Capital District Doper? You still live up here?

Beats the hell out of murder/suicides, the negative side of cabin fever.

Bradenton, FL

Rae

Weyburn, Saskatchewan, in Mount St. Mary’s Hospital (now a community arts centre).

Canadians might know about Tommy Douglas and W.O. Mitchell.

Dopers might know about Odieman.

Bakersfield, CA. AKA Nashville West. AKA Little Oklahoma. Don’t live there anymore.
And I’ve known 3 or 4 people from around Fargo (that’d be most of you, right?), and you all do talk kinda funny.
