Never, ever go there.

Since I am a military brat, I had my people do a little research to find this out. They searched everywhere, and after much dispute, we have narrowed it down to the two most likely candidates:[ul][li]under a wandering star, according to my people in Broadway[/li][li]in Shadyside, PA (Pittsburgh for the uninformed), according to my ‘family’ contacts[/li][/ul]

Bay City, Michigan

Famous for:

  1. The Bay City Rollers
  2. Madonna’s childhood residence (called it a “stinky little town”, most likely due to the sugar beets)
  3. The bar there last year that couldn’t get a license to polka. Don’t ask.

Evanston, Illinois

I really enjoyed this thread, so I’m going to give it 1 (one) bump to see if more people would like to contribute. It was fun the first time around, why not try it again right? Uhh, RIGHT??

Nazareth hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

I was born in a 6 foot by 6 foot shack in Fern Forest 5 km uphill from Kilauea caldera on the Big Island of Hawaii. Imagine that in 1974.

Best place of all, San Francisco, California. Unfortunately, can’t afford to live there any longer.

Gadarene - Sierra City is both beautiful and funky! Probably a good place to grow up in but I’d still take San Francisco any day.

Frontier Nursing Service, Hyden, Kentucky
They didn’t get a hospital until 1971.
