Where were you when you heard the news?

Where were you and what time was it when you first heard the tragic news? I assume you are all familiar with what this news is.

I was rushing to my American History class. Nearly late and out of breath, I sat down to see the television on CNN. It was not long after the first tower collapsed and I was there to witness the fall of the second tower and have watched televised coverage on and off for the rest of the day. Just yesterday, I had an odd feeling that some news was going to happen very soon and very close to home (it happened only about 400 mi from my current location) that would make headlines worldwide. Weird, huh?

I was here, in South Korea. It was last night for me. My mother called me and told me to watch the news. The rest is a sad blur.
