And for my money, I imagine every day John Kerry wakes up, looks in the mirror, and thanks the deity of his choice that he didn’t get saddled with cleaning up GWB’s mess.

I dunno, if he’s delusional enough to think he has a chance in '08, then he might be delusional enough to think he might have fixed something largely proving to be unfixable.

I’m glad you’re willing to admit it’s GWB’s mess, though (and let’s be honest–we all know Kerry would’ve been blamed for everything going wrong by the same individuals that helped instigate it all in the first place).

I got a phone call from Al Gore last night (O.K., it was a recording). He wants me to vote for the Democrat for Insurance Commissioner. I was a little surprised that he was calling me about that race, rather than a proposition.

Well, and here I thought I was special. Al called me, too, last night. Tonight, Bill Clinton called.

Have I mentioned how happy I’ll be once the election is over?

From what I’ve read, Gore has done his homework and knows what he’s talking about re global warming.

I don’t doubt it - the movie’s just opened here, so I’ll be seeing it presently.
The kitty thing is an internet meme thingy - one of those ones with photoshopped pics of kitties doing cute things (One was a kitty in Iraq, I think) - kinda like the ORLY? owl.
