Which character from Primetime Dramas would you...?

Shakespeare was fun, so let’s give drama (aka “weekly soaps”) a whirl.

First let’s rule out what isn’t Primetime Drama - no SciFi shows, no War shows, no Comedies, no Reality shows, no Daily soaps, no Career-based shows (doctors, lawyers, cops oh my). at least not in this thread, anyway…

Examples, but not limited to:
some valid choices - Desperate Housewives, Everwood, 90210, The O.C., Gilmore Girls, and Melrose Place.
some invalid choices - Lost, All My Children, Buffy, ER, Arrested Development, CSI, Without A Trace, and the X-Files.

You can answer every question with characters from different shows, or use characters from the same show for every answer. Mix or match as you see fit.
Supposing they were real people, which character from your choice of Primetime Drama would you:

A. Marry?

B. Have a brief, but exciting fling with, perhaps resulting in a love child you try to pass off as your spouse’s kid or whose existence you hide from your spouse, before breaking up and never speaking to them again?

C. Want as a family member? (specify your relationship to them. Parent, sibling, your child etc)

D. Want as a college roommate?

E. Really have hated in high school?

F. Set up in a diabolical plan to frame for your crime?

G. Be the most disappointed to learn was your secret half-sibling?

H. Feel really bad for when they contract a fatal disease/are mortally injured in an accident?

Well, i’m sure you had your reasons for offering such a stunted list of possible shows, but methinks it might restrict the number of responses you get. I came in ready to play, but i don’t watch a single one of your “valid choices.”

Me too.

Hate to say it but, me three.

four.

Me five.

Okay, I watch Desperate Housewives, but consider it less of a “prime time drama” than some of the supposedly “invalid” choices, like Gray’s Anatomy or Without A Trace.

Seriously, what the hell?

Basically, the OP wants primetime soap watchers to respond.

Given that most women in primetime soaps strike me (from the ads) as venomous ball-breaking man-haters or self-sacrificial weak-kneed sob-sisters, there’s only one adequate answer to that question.

Heather Locklear.

Melrose Place is off the air for 6 years and it’s still valid, while ER, for example, isn’t?

Me six, in that case.

Me seven.

Gilmore Girls is great – everyone should start watching it.

But I agree that it’s an improperly restricted list. Why limit “occupation” shows at all? That’s mostly the only drama that’s on these days.

I don’t watch any, either; I stopped watching Gilmore Girls when it stopped being funny, which is, you know, funny, on account of it’s a comedy…

I find your criteria confusing and vague; please unsubscribe me from your newsletter.

I’m going to answer the questions but ignore the list of acceptable shows.

Hurley! (Lost)
E. Really have hated in high school?
