Which Christian denominations are more 'liberal'?

My answer to that life after death question varies from “Do you believe in life before birth?” to “I’ll wait and see.”

Regarding belief in God, a few UUs are full out atheists. Anyone with a grasp of the golden rule or Kant’s categorical imperative can construct a solid ethical system without invoking a deity. But that discussion would belong to a “Ask the Unitarian Universalist” thread.

As to whether we’re more of a philosopher’s convention than a religion I won’t comment. Historically many of our ministers have come from Harvard Divinity School. I recall a bulletin recently that tracked UU youth SAT scores and found them about 140 points above the national average.

Personally, I go to a non-denominational church.
The guy who drove us said, ALL churches are non-denominational.
He’s right.
Theres only one denomination-christian.
Theres only one true church-those people all over the world who believe in Jesus’ atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Personally, also, I separate my religion from my liberalness.
Most fundies are Republicans, not liberal.
I am a Green alone in church.
