Which Famous/Significant Works Have "The Americans" as the Villian?

I may not be recalling this correctly, but wasn’t the island in the book run by the Ottoman Turks?

The U.S. sent troops to intervene in the Russian Civil War. Do any Soviet-era books or films about the war feature Americans as villains?

It seems unlikely to me, considering that the American warship that the heroes originally embark upon is the Abraham Lincoln, that Verne would be unaware of the effects of the Civil War - or that he would be ignoring changes of that great a nature.

There’s always Nation’s Pride.

“The Quiet Earth,” a New Zealand movie from the early 1980s (basically) has the Americans as the bad guys, as it was an American experiment gone awry.

One Man’s Hero, starring Tom Berenger.

There’s also “Dances With Samurai”, or whatever that Tom Cruise vehicle was.

It’s about a Japanese civil war with Americans as supporting cast only.
