There’s The Quest for St. Aquin. Android converts all who hear him preach.
actually, you could say 98 percent of StarWars is because of something R2-D2 did simply because in the books he was the only one who knew everything about everyone involved despite having his memory “erased” he still retained it all from the phantom menace although wasnt he in amadialas palace ?
I remeber a discussion that people said SW sort of alluded to that R2 might of been a force capable droid…
For two more Asimov characters: R. Daneel Olivaw and (arguably) Dors Venabili.
Rosie could push around most of the Jetson family.
“I don’t want to kill Ultron; he’s unique. And he’s in pain. But that pain will roll over the Earth. So he must be destroyed: every form he’s built, every trace of his presence on the 'net. We have to act now, and not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster; I don’t think I would know, if I were one. I’m not what you are, and not what you intended. So there may be no way to make you trust me.”

“But we need to go.”

Douglas Rain’s performance as HAL (in 2001: A Space Odyssey) is dominated by his use of a very “reasonable” tone of voice—used in a clear attempt to persuade.
Of course the attempt failed. But the intent was there.
I hate to say it but any sort of Fembot would probably persuade me quite easily.
Hah, that was nothing Data did. It was clearly the sentience of Riker’s awesome new beard steering everything the way it needed to go.
The Great Hyperlobic Omni-Cognate Neutron Wrangler … could talk all four legs off an Arcturan Megadonkey - but only Deep Thought could persuade it to go for a walk afterwards.

Bicentennial Man played by Robin Williams.
Bicentennial Man basically is a replay of the Adam Link stories, mentioned above, that heavily influenced the young Asimov.

Whoa! I always wondered if I had dreamed that movie, I thought it was one of the many “Beach” movies with Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello, no wonder I never found clips of it before.
(Dr. Goldfoot giving a tour of the dungeon to the heroes, with a cameo by Annette)Some of those Special Circumstances AIs in Iain Banks’ Culture novels were pretty persuasive - particularly at offers one couldn’t refuse.
