Which NFL team has had the most starting QB's in the last decade?

Which team has had the greatest number of different starting QB’s in the last 5 years?

Along those lines, which team has the shortest string of consecutive starts by the same QB in the last 5 years? IOW, Favre has the longest active starting streak for the Pack, but which team is the most feeble in this catagory in the last 5 years?

Now answer the same Q’s for the last 10 years. Please and thanks.

Sheesh, come up with an easier one next time, willya?

As you said, Favre and the Packers set the bar for the past 5, 10, and likely even 15 years. I’m not able to answer your question directly, but I can say that ESPN tells us that thanks to Kyle Orton, Chicago has started 20 different quarterbacks since 1990, and a USA Today article from 9/9/2004 says that since Favre began his streak on Sep 27 1992, the Bears had 16 starting QBs. Further research is required, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bears are the answer to your question.

Since the Browns have been back in 1999, we’ve had:

couch, detmer, pedersen, thompson, wynn, holcomb, garcia, mccown, dilfer, frye (starts sunday).

That’s 10.

reference for those wanting to do the leg work on finding the answer to the OP.

Redskins started 14 different QB’s over the last 10 (less than Bears) and
counting [05 as the 5th season] - 9 in the last 5 which might put them into the conversation for *that * crown

The reason I started this thread is because I heard something on the radio broadcast of the last Packer game to the effect that the Lions have not had the same quarterback start more than 7(?) consecutive games in ‘X’ amount of years. Didn’t get the ‘X’ part and am not sure about the 7 part either. The stat was presented in a confusing manner.
So I began wondering how many other teams are as feeble as the Lions (or what the actual stats showed).

Yes, the Lions certainly have been bad, but I’m pretty damn sure the Bears are the worst with QBs.

Harrington started all 16 games in 2003 and 2004 so your info seems to be incorrect.

Incidentally, I’ve been googling to find a website that has these stats available and it’s a frigging pain inteh ass. Football is a long ways behind baseball when it comes to stat saturation, at least non-fantasy stats anyways.

I wish I had access to the Stats Inc. database.
