Which of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World would you most like to see?

I don’t see how any of these are all that wondrous. Colossi were ten a penny in the ancient world. Still got that statue of liberty today.

Statues the size of the Statue of Liberty aren’t even “ten a penny” in the world today:

Note the construction dates. The Chinese Giant Buddha from the 9th century "cheats’ by not being free-standing.
Heck, that other “Seventh Wonder” , the statue of Zeus at Olympia was only about 40 feet tall. a third the height of the Colossus, and it got to be considered a “wonder of the World”

That’s kind of my thinking too. The Hanging Gardens could be an amazing combination of architectural and natural beauty or something rather disappointing; it’s a bit of a crapshoot. The Colossus OTOH sounds like it would almost certainly be impressive so I would perhaps go with that.

Definitely the Colossus.

I just hope I find its sigil before I run out of grip

The Colossus without a doubt.

I could just imagine a group of disappointed time travelers hopelessly staring at the 600BC equivalent of 50+ Topsy Turvy tomato planters all in a row.

A poster after my own heart.

Colossus. Not even close.

The Colossus would be an impressive sight, though evidence is strong against it standing astride the port opening.

I have a thing for lighthouses, so Alexandria would be neat.

I think the Garden has the most potential for ancient beauty.

Although it’s not a wonder, I’d most like to see the famous Library…
