Where’s Honolulu?
I picked Philadelphia. It’s only 1/2 mile from where I live now.
I do live in the greater Boston area mostly against my will. I say it is a city of huge positives just slightly more than offset by the gigantic negative ones. I am stuck here for the next 13 years until my youngest is out of high school and then I am gone for good. I wouldn’t pick just because of the weather and cost of living alone but there are more downsides than that. I do like the immediate suburban area where I live however. If global warning would hurry up and do something constructive for once, I might change my mind.
I picked Washington D.C. although I wouldn’t live in the city proper. I like the atmosphere and I could make it work if I could live in an outer suburb in Virginia that is a little bit Southern and country. San Diego would be my second choice. I have never been there but I hear good things about it and the weather is perfect. New York City is right out. It is about the opposite of everything I like so it that would be a personal hell. I could go for Denver as an alternate I think. I hate the idea of Seattle with passion even though I have never been there. Nothing good ever came from coffee mixed with perpetual mist.
