Which side of your brain is more dominant, the right or left?

Any discussion of “brainedness” on the internet is 99% bs by people unqualified to comment. People aren’t dominant for a majority of functions in opposite fashions.

Each eye sends input to both sides of the brain. The left half of the visual FIELD goes to the right side of the brain and vice versa. But there is a huge overlap between what the individual eyes see.

Clockwise or counterclockwise from what assumed viewpoint? Looking down from above or looking up from below?

Or is this telling me something else about how my brain works?

Growing up, I was always proud to say that lefthanded people are in their right mind. Get it? We’re the creative ones, so we’re right brained.

Sorry to burst everyone’s bubble, but science says that the brain dominance thing is a myth.

(Oh…I can see the girl spinning both ways. Freaky.)

What we need to do is to test this on someone with a split brain.

Umm…if I use my right eye she spins counter-clock, and if I use my left eye she spins clock. If I use both eyes she spins clock, but it takes almost no effort to get her to spin the other way.

Really? Switching eyes has no effect for me.

I thought it was hilarious to watch her spin clockwise and then switch the other way…

I just watched a freaky (but awesome) video on split brains this morning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfYbgdo8e-8

So its clockwise which makes me right-brained, and I google right-brain to see what kind of person that makes me. After filtering out all the clickbait crap, I find a couple of concise lists, and they are completely wrong. About 20% of the right-brain characteristics apply to me.

So much for today’s adventure in bullshitland. Nice rack on the dacner, though, so the exercise wasn’t a complete waste.

For what its worh, her lifted foot seems to go to the right higher on her stationary leg than going left, which would mean she is turning clockwise, according to perspective.
