Which way is she moving? Poll

Same here.

At first she was going counter-clockwise, but it wasn’t too hard to make her go the other way. I just kept telling myself to see it the other way, and POOF, she started turning clockwise.

I was reading the text and she went counter-clockwise for half a second. Damn, this is frustrating.

I did it! I can make her switch! If I look at the toe she’s pointing when she’s got it extended as close as it will go to the right or left edge of the frame I can switch her back and forth.

Initially clockwise, then counterclockwise, then clockwise again.

If I close my eyes or look at something else, I can sometimes get her to switch directions when I look again, but not always. I can’t figure out any rule.

Try to imagine it like Hampshire said - instead of rotating, she’s waving her foot back and forth in front of you like a pendulum.

Fascinating - I can only see her going clockwise and I can’t imagine her waving her foot back and forth in front of her because to me she clearly shows her back (makes a full revolution).

I’ve tried to follow everyone’s tricks - but she only goes in one direction for me (boyfriend immediately mentioned the nipple when I sent the link).

I saw her moving clockwise at first. I tried the trick and got her to spin the other way, but I couldn’t swing her back to the original unless I Xed out of the page and went back.

I was exactly the same way and pretty much resigned to “I’m just a clockwise person” until I went to lunch and came back and tried again.

I have looked at this page several times in the past and have never been able to see it move any way but clockwise. I’m an artist, so that makes sense. I have tried to see it counter-clockwise many times, but just couldn’t… till now.

I tried what Elfkin said and looked at where the shadow meets the foot, and she switched on me! And now, each time I look back at the page, she starts out counter-clockwise, then switches to the normal clockwise rotation.

So, perhaps this proves my contention that physicist have more in common with artists than engineers. I’m a physicist, and damned if I can make her go counter-clockwise. Of course, it is almost midnight, and I’m old.

She looked clockwise at first glance, counter-clockwise after I read some of the article, then clockwise again after I finished it. I now can’t get her to switch back to counter-clockwise. That said, I strongly doubt that this test indicates any sort of brainedness. (Then again, I don’t really believe in that concept.)

She’s moving from Left to Right on the screen, so I guess if you are looking at her from the top-down, she would be moving counter-clockwise.

ETA: Also, nice tits.

ETA AGAIN: I tried to force myself to see her moving in the other direction, and I did! Neat.
