Which web site has the zoroastrianism creation story?

zoroastrianism creation story? I know I can go to the library and check out a zoroastrianism book, but I haven’t had much time to go to the library lately and I can’t find it on the web. I read that there might be multiple versions. If there are, then I want to find the earliest known version, and the most current version.
Thanks.

Only took a couple minutes on Google with “Zoroastrian creation” to come up with this:

I like it-- it’s got a kicky sci-fi groove to it: “actualized in finite time.”

(Oh, and unless the subject line truncated on you due to quotes, perhaps you’d also like to take a look here. Let’s keep GQ neat & tidy, just like your neighborhood.)

Thank you. I did look on Google but was having a hard time finding anything. As for the subject line, I just didn’t want to make it to long. On a programming message board I left a long subject line and ticked a couple people off. Anyway though, I’ll think of better ways to shorten it and still let the reader know what the message is about. Thanks again.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen folks here complaining about long subject lines, and I’ve seen plenty longer than “What website has the Zoroastrian creation story?”. If you really want to be concise, though, you could have just titled it “Zoroastrian creation story”, which is enough to give readers at least a general idea of what you want.

If you want, let me know and I’ll change the topic for you, just this once. When I saw the thread, I thought that it was another vB truncation due to quotes, but a lot of folks (potential Middle Eastern scholars among them) would see the incomplete title and ignore the thread and move on.

Thanks, but that’s ok. I got the information I wanted. I don’t mind if everybody else ignores this thread now.

Joel, go read the thread Nurlman linked to. obscure topic sentences suck. Its a bit inconsiderate to leave it like it is when a mod offered to change it. How the heck is anyone supposed to be able to search the boards for this question? They can’t - which means if someone wants to know they’ll have to repost the same question, tying up board resources and clogging it with duplicate threads.

Did I just say “suck” in GQ? :o
Sorry, but they do. Especially here.

Ok, fine, if it’ll make everybodies life easier then let the subject line be changed.

On the 2,192,062nd day, God said “Let there be Google.” And it was so. God saw that the Google was good, and he separated the Google from the other so-called ‘search-engines’. And there was evening, and there was morning the 2,192,063rd day.
