I’m looking at picking up a new PC in a few months (like 2 months) and am trying to determine which version of XP to pick up for it… XP Home, XP Pro, or XP Media center.
I am avoiding Vista for now.
4 gb of RAM should enable me to jump up to Vista, if I decide to do so in the future.
So which version of XP is best for gaming purposes, I ask you, the Teeming Millions!
I don’t think it matters at all. XP is XP as far as gaming is concerned. The differences between the three versions all business or media stuff. Here’s a comparison between home and pro:

Interesting. Cool. Will read more on that. I always thought that the different versions of XP were different for gaming purposes.
