For the same reason blue eyed people tend to look like blue eyed people white people tend to look like white people.
Because they already have one trait in common.

My brother-in-laws look remarkably alike, considering they are only half-brothers and one is of English-Irish descent while the other is of English-Filipino descent. Claiming that marrying outside his race made it impossible for my father-in-law’s children to look like him is false, as it is only minor details like skin, hair and eye colour that differ.
My AmerAsian daughter has her white grandmother’s hazel eye’s and Chinese grandmother’s ears. She’s got my skull structure and her mom’s mouth.
I read that thread in GD and posted to it. No where do I see anyone anywhere saying white people don’t look like each other. Since that is not what the discussion is about, I’m not surprised.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen The Ryanlogic[sup]TM[/sup] used around these parts. Reprieve over, I guess.

I don’t think that verybdog was saying that the child will look nothing like its grandparents, only that it would less like them.

If anyone is exhibiting cognitive shortcomings, it is you, as you are apparently unable to distinguish between an assertion and logic, and use an ad hominem attack in place of a substantive response.

Which implies that
a) That skin color is the only difference in appearance between the races.
b) It is racist to think there is a difference in appearance between the races.
And you yourself said
Which was in response to the question
Either you were implying that her marrying within his race will not make his grandchild look more like him, or you don’t think that the word “more” was implied in that sentence.
