Cite? I’m surprised to hear it described as a hit–I would have thought it was more of a disappointment, or even a bomb. On the list of top-grossing films of the year its release, where did it rank?

OK, here in England, home of Nottingham and Robin Hood, it may have had anomalous success, but how often do people around you talk about using blunt spoons because they hurt more? A movie doesn’t have to be a financial success for the actor to be stellar.

According to the Hollywood Reporter Book of Box Office Hits, it was the 2nd top-grossing film of 1991.
