This is my choice as well. I’m a completely boring looking person and even so I know how rude people can be about my appearance. It breaks my heart to consider the plight of people who are in an “ugly” body, or behind a “scary” face. People are so cruel.
Parents whose children have died or are dying.
People in war-torn or poverty stricken countries with few to no social services available.
Stray animals, especially if they’re injured or skinny.
